My passion for empowering young people led to my becoming a Teaching Artist.

The arts give us a way to connect to others, learn about the world, and express our creativity. I use my teaching artistry to connect young people with history and to engage the creative spirit of all my workshop participants.

We are all artists with something worth saying to the world.

 My guiding principle is that the arts is not purely decorative- it serves a social purpose. The arts should not be an elite rarified experience, it should be a part of all our lives.
